How do I know if my insurance covers telehealth therapy?

Most major insurance plans now cover telehealth mental health services, especially since 2020. The best way to confirm is to call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask specifically about outpatient mental health telehealth benefits, your deductible, and your copay or coinsurance amount.

Yes. Once you submit a booking request, we will run a complimentary benefits verification before your first session and let you know exactly what to expect in terms of cost. No surprises.

What is a superbill, and can I get one?

A superbill is an itemized receipt you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. If you are paying privately and your plan has out-of-network benefits, we are happy to provide a superbill after each session.

Do you offer a sliding scale fee?

We maintain a small number of reduced-fee slots for clients who demonstrate financial need. These spots are limited and subject to availability. Please mention your situation when you reach out and we will discuss options openly and without judgment.

When is payment due?

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit and debit cards, HSA and FSA cards, and Zelle. For insurance clients, your copay or coinsurance is collected at the start of each session.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee, as that time cannot be offered to another client. We understand that life happens, so please communicate with us as early as possible.
